Does the military take in consideration for potential candidates if they have any type of brain damage?

If it’s not discrimination to hire them, why aren’t they upfront and honest as to the real reason why they won’t hire them?

There are standardized physical and psychological tests to weed out unable and unstable characters. After all, the government has to trust a person with deadly weapons and/or very expensive material.
For what it’s worth, due to the fact that the U. S. military doesn’t get enough recruits, these standards have already been lowered.

Yes they don't let those with damages or disabilities enter.

Before you start military school, they make you answer a test first and when you pass, they'll do all sort of physical tests to see if you really are fit to join. They even give Neuro exams to see if you think right

Yeah ok.. but this particular individual went to flight pilot plane school to be a pilot.. this school had nothing to do with the military but that was her intention (to join the navy)

Still the same, neurology test will be given to qualify

Im Retired military. Unless, they get a waiver, not going to happen. Everyone gets tested before and after deployments.

She was told by a friend who’s already in the air force that she would have been hired if she didn’t cry during the interview

So she did not fail because of the damage, but because of the interviewers finding her not stable enough in certain situations.
In the end, it’s all about the tests: Someone might have broken his leg three times, but as long as all has healed up, they will pass.
