Did you know USA had asked pilots to "kamikazi" into flight 93 on 9/11?

That kinda blew my mind... VP Cheney asked a pilot to crash her plane into Flight 93... since her plane didn't have weapons installed. We ask people to sacrifice, but that's another level.

Didn't happen because the passengers took the plane down instead. Quite a story...

My opinion is that yes there were hijackers on those planes and that the CIA, NSA and FBI were more than aware of their plan and allowed them to do it but I don't believe the hijackers were in control of the planes. For instance the precise accuracy that those two planes hit the twin towers was beyond what some hijacker with limited flight training on small aircraft could manage let alone an actual airline pilot, to do it once is sheer luck but twice? I believe those aircraft were controlled using drone technology to hit the twin towers.

I believe flight 93 whatever its target that day was, the drone system failed and the pilots were still in control of the plane. Whether the passengers took down the hijackers I dont know but what likely happened was that the USAF had the plane shot down by air to ground anti Air missile, a USAF fighter or a drone system to cover up US government links to the terrorists, the evidence of the drone equipment and that no one on board lived to testify. The plane wreckage is spread over miles indicating it did not crash.

There's a lot of funny stuff that went on during 9/11 and the US government has used false flag operations throughout our history to justify going to war when US intrests are in the mix. Like most cover ups the truth will eventually come out when everyone behind it is dead and beyond prosecution, when those affected by it the most are dead and when the people no longer care.

Anyway, it doesn't surprise me he would ask. Although that's all he can do since he's not in the chain of command, and pilots have rules of engagement. The idea that he supposedly "ordered" pilots to do it is suspect just for that reason.

It certainly wouldn't be the first time military people were asked to go on a suicide mission.

It also wouldn't surprise me if a pilot took it upon themselves to do it. It might even be possible to do it without getting killed.

Yeah, I'm going to respectfully disagree with the assertion that they were ordered to kamikaze Flight 93.

During the video that was posted, the host makes that claim prior to bringing pilot Heather Penney into the the video conference interview. At no time does Penney say they were ordered to kamikaze Flight 93.

I've posted a link from a different video interview with both pilots, Penney & Sasseville. At the 1.56 mark of the video Norah O'Donnell asks if it was a chain of command order to ram Flight 93 , to which they both state they made that decision had it came to that.

accept your point, it's valid.
find me military that will kill civilians like that without an order to do so. I don't think makes sense. maybe an unwritten order.
either way though... it's something to realize that even if there is an undeclared war... and we are cruising along in our jumpo jet to our vacation destination... we could be taken out of the sky by the us military... if the need arises. more likely to get struck by lightening and attacked by a shark at the same time... but the potential is there.

its a fox news story. facts I would argue over first. my question is why live weapons were not readily available? why was the US country defenseless to the point it might have asked a pilot to take their plane itself into a target. sounds a bit off to me. but so was cheney.

modern fighter jets can actually become and go kamikaze very easily

and the pilot has the option to eject, lol... so it is not absolutely crazy of an idea, you do not actually have to sacrifice the pilot, you sacrifice the plane, no?

I think commercial planes do go just below 40k ft altitude, while pilots can eject around 50k ft altitudes

I am not sure, but there's some veterans on this site that might have a better insight, lol

I am talking about the ejection seat... which is available in modern days

every pilot that is a fighter is trained to use the ejection seat if/when needed

there were no ejection seats back then in Pearl Harbor... so the "kamikaze" reference is a bit of a stretch here

As VP/President, I'd probably ask the same. I'm sure there's some benefit to kamikazi'ing instead of missile lock. They wanted to cause an emergency landing instead of mass death.

But the heroes on flight 93 were more decisive.

Cheny probably had something to do with 9-11. He coincidentally was behind organizing how the commander in chief is moved around during a major terrorist attack and knew exactly where President Bush would be headed on 9-11. So him telling someone to take that kind of action is just covering for himself, I'd say.

There's still a lot of classified info about the Saudis who lived in Florida & who suddenly fled with US government help right after 9-11.

The worst part of this story is that Cheney, as VP, had no authority to do anything like that. Only the President could have ordered that, and Cheney had done his best to keep the President away from Washington on Air Force One or on the ground in Omaha. Cheney's actions on 9/11 is the main reason he and Bush did not get along.

The military probably just shot that plane down and made the self sacrifice story up, like the plane looks like if fell in chunks instead of one plane hitting the ground, and it makes sense because it was heading to the capital.

IIRC, at the time, it was reported that there was some discussion about it among Cheney and other officials, but that they decided it would be unethical to ask servicemembers to do a kamikaze flight.

Yes, I think she's lying. How would Cheny have only known about one of the hijacked planes? There was a significant delay between the two towers being hit. My uncle was in the second one and got everyone in his office (he was part of a big law firm) out and away from damage radius before the second tower was hit. Now it's not impossible that this did happen, but as per Occam's Razor the pure supposition aspect makes it almost an impossibility.
