Did you know if someone dies on a plane they sit them down til they arrive?

They usually try to put them in the less populated area unless the plane is full, imagine the person next to you dies and you gotta sit next to them til y'all land? 😂

I know there's not much room on a plane, but maybe they could have a refrigerator and lay the person down on a table/bed of some kind.
Only problem with that is that the passengers would see the dead person before they put them in in there. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Well, they certainly won't be yammering about all their problems and bothering you, now will you. If there's no place else for them to be removed to, there's simply nothing that can be done. But how often does this happen? I'm guessing since I've never ever heard of it, that it's an extremely rare occurance.

Thankfully it's not particularly common. The hardest thing is working out jurisdictions for legal documents on an international flight. If the aircraft is under half distance some countries say turn round, others say keep going. Bureaucratic nightmare.

Yeah, I read that. Also that the flight attendants are instructed to tell other passengers that "the person is sleeping." Any medical emergency on an airplane is rather terrifying, I'd say. Didn't Carrie Fisher die during a flight from the UK to the US?

I had never heard of that. It's make sense, what else could be done? After all, if the plane was full and someone died next to me, I wouldn't be bothered if they were a stranger (other than the smell). I'm not afraid of the dead, I'm afraid of the living.

The last time I went on an aircraft I had 3 seats all to myself, until we took off. Then the stewardesses brought me company. I wouldn't have minded if they brought me a young attractive female, they brought me a guy instead ☹️

Airplanes do not have a morgue. If possible, flight attendants secure the body in a seat until the plane lands.

@Sunrising XD dude that's WAY too dangerous AND too expensive. There's no safe way to dispose of a corpse mid flight in a passenger airliner. And even if there was, what if the family didn't want that? You can't just throw away the corpse of someone like that xD
