Is Chick Fila in trouble for this tweet? Should it be?

Just because someone uses the word community means they are referring specifically to "communities of color." If that is where your mind instantly goes you really, really, need to take a break from the social and political BS. Because you are clearly turning into a mouth breathing idiot that can't see past it or think for themselves.
People can fall into a trap where they overload themselves with a given idea or narrative that they start hearing it or seeing it everywhere. So if I'm talking about my black rabbit hopping around my place like crazy, people will instantly think that I'm talking about a black kid. Simply because they think me saying black rabbit is slag for a black kid. Due to me talking about my pet having black hair. Because black [insert animal] means a person is talking about black people. You can see it play our with race, religion, sex, sexual orientation and just about any other group.
The quickest way to fall into that is to overly focus on something and more or less surround yourself with things that talk about it. It happens because people more or less put themselves into a personal echo chamber. The internet and technology had made creating a echo chamber much easier. So people need to start disconnecting from such issues and ensure they are not creating a echo chamber.
Because with people turning themselves into sheeple and developing a distorted view of reality I might need to start carrying around a picture of my black rabbit Lola and be prepared to explain myself to everyone around me.
Blackboard replaced by chalkboard for instance, black ice by transparent ice. Is black so bad?

I don't see any problem with this.
All he asked for was some spicy stuff on the menu, and they avoided the question with the basic corporate pr talk. Being as vague as possible, neither confirming nor denying it, always keeping all options available.
Nahh... i think thats too much of an interpretation.
In my experience, those with extreme spicy food, are Asians, Korea/Thai/Vietnam/India/...
I think they are just refering to specific locations where there is a demand for these foods.
Also the dude on the photo is pale as fuck. I am german and get sunburn when i am exposed to the fullmoon, and i love spicy food.
No, has nothing to do with color or race. They literally said they're testing in different markets. Meaning that if that item is released in his market/community they would let them know / advertise it.
i dont care about chick filets politics; i care about the fact that they abuse animals and are disgusting
doesn't mcdonald's do the same thing and other restaurants?
Who cares though it's not like they're abusing pets, it's a cow raise it feed it kill it
@Sandeeppingping Lots of people care how those animals are treated while alive.
@dustybiker Why though? We'll never meet them and we have no emotional attachment to them (thankfully, imagine eating someone you care about), mass production is what's needed alternative would be me hunting for my own food otherwise I'm doomed, and I realize I'm coming off as extremely insensitive as of right now but that's how I genuinely see it, in the grand scheme of things their fate is the same so why does it matter? What matters is that the job gets done, I'm actually hesitant about sending this but you're a cool person so pls don't hate me bruv😂😂
@Sandeeppingping Because they are living breathing beings that feel pain and can suffer.
What makes us human is the ability to cause suffering in others. We can choose not to.

They may have assumed him to be black because he said spicy chicken "nugs," as if he's using some kind of urban variation of "n! gga." They probably were being a little underhanded in how they responded because they really only needed to say "We'll be sure to let YOU know..." It was not even necessary to say anything about his community.
Your community as in your local community as in the area you live in which is what would make sense since that chick fila is a franchise so... Do I really have to go on and explain it?
Anybody that sees anything offensive there is the problem, not the solution. Any reasonable person would take that as to mean your community as in town or city, as it was intended
Your community being your literal community. Not specific to race. There is nothing about this that is troubling or worth creating a mess over.
Nah, just media shitwigs trying to create a story out of nothing.
Must be a slow news day for them.
They probably meant local community, i. e., your city or town. Companies sometimes test a new product in one or several areas first.
Why? Because a person has used to word "community"?
You know community isn't race dependent.
community
/kəˈmjuːnɪti/
Learn to pronounce
noun
1. a group of people living in the same place or having a particular characteristic in common.
"Montreal's Italian community"
Similar: group section body company set circle clique coterie ring band faction gang bunch
2. the condition of sharing or having certain attitudes and interests in common.
"the sense of community that organized religion can provide"
By "letting your community know" is saying, that we'll run ads in the city, principality, state in which you live.
Stop omitting the context. The word community in the context of the tweet is not "you blacks" but "you group of people that live in a specific area of the US". You're intentionally looking for way to be offended by something that should and isn't offensive.
daniel does not have a chic fil a in his community
You are trying to find a problem where there isn't one.
I didn't see anything to get in trouble over. Just a standard response to a tweet.
Simples...
I’m really starting to feel bad about making fun of you. You’re legit mentally disabled, not just a dumb leftist.
It's this over sensitivity that causes so many problems. Why assume that it's race or colour orientated?
So a customer wants something and the company says they are trying it out. Where is the problem? This is what you want companies to do.
Sounds like more whining by some nags. Community can easily refer to his district.
Seemed fine to me BUT there are always the ones who would make a big deal out of everything not so big!
Just Liberals looking for something to complain about.
As opposed to you relentlessly complaining about anything Liberals say.
It's almost breakfast time. Go shove another box of donuts down your throat. You'll feel better.
No they should not get in trouble over that tweet.
It seemed a normal response to me…
Terrible thing to learn about oneself. Moving on..
Nothing is wrong here.
Where's the issue?
I don't see a problem here.
Why?
No don't think so
