What is your reaction to Sweden electing a right wing coalition with the far right Swedish Democrats becoming the second largest party?

I have been paying a lot of attention to the politics of the various European nations and Sweden always seemed to be a stubborn leftist country that wouldn’t save itself from multiculturalism, but it seems that is changing.

I was disappointed in the 2014 election and the 2018 election, but 2022 seems to be the year it finally happened.

If Sweden one of the most liberal countries in Europe could move to the right on immigration then the same can be true for the rest of Europe.

If what Americans call the "Right Wing" party suddenly wins in Sweden or at least gets very very close, that would be an amazing accomplishment or improvement. Sweden is a far left country the last time I read about it which was in 2017 or 2018. They have (or had) a feminist government with misandry. Things seem to finally be changing for the better. Sweden seemed like the worst country for a man to live in. That's pretty much all I really know about Swedish politics. Results are still not final as I'm writing this.

It’s not actually that surprising when you look back in time. The further to the left we swing, the further to the right people swing in reaction.
