Why do people get angry if you can read them properly?

I have a gift of reading people, what they may think about me , their mood, if they are lying about something , general attitude and history.

Believe me or not it is almost always proven right. But people get angry if you can deduce stuff about themselves , their personalities and if they are lying. Perhaps it's more like an defence mechanism , as most people built walls around them to protect their minds for others.

I cannot read minds , it's just from facial expressions, pulse, answers from specific questions, talking pattern and tone...

Many put forth a lot of effort to disguise themselves.
It tends to piss them off when they discover it's for naught - especially when they consider how many others have seen through them and just not said anything.
Former spouses are especially fun to watch when this happens.

People like to believe they’re too special or unique to be figured out using basic psychology.
