Well, to me (mostly from what I have observed here on GAG), young Canadian women seem to be wilder than American women.
And perhaps the reason for this is partly because the drinking age in Canada is lower than in the USA…
“21 is the Legal Drinking Age [in the USA].”
https://consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0386-21-legal-drinking-age
But: “In Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec, the legal drinking age is 18. But in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Prince Edward Island (P. E. I.), Ontario, and the Yukon, the limit is 19 years of age.”
https://www.worldatlas.com/articles/what-s-the-legal-drinking-age-in-canada.html
So I think Canadian women being able to legally buy alcohol and go out to bars & clubs in Canada while still in high school or shortly after high school might tend to make young Canadian women a little more “experienced” than their American women contemporaries.
However I think the primary reason young Canadian women might be wilder — definitely seeming to be much more sexual — than young US women is because the legal sexual “Age of Consent” is younger in Canada than it is the USA.
“The Age of Consent in United States is 16 years old…[BUT]…In all [US] states, the age of consent is between 16 and 18 years old [and the] United States has a close-in-age exemption…for underage couples who engage in consensual sex [which varies or is non-existent, depending on the US state].”
https://www.ageofconsent.net/world/united-states
And per the following link…
https://www.worldatlas.com/articles/age-of-consent-in-the-us-by-state.html
…the US state ages of consent are:
16 - for 31 US states plus Washington, DC
17 - for 8 US states
18 - for 11 US states
However..
“The Age of Consent in Canada is 16 years old…There are two close in age exemptions. One allows a minor aged 12 or 13 to consent to sexual congress with an individual less then two years older. The other allows 14 and [15] year olds to consent to partners less than 5 years older…”
https://www.ageofconsent.net/world/canada
So:
I DO think that Canadian women are wilder & more sexual than US women.
But I think both American & Canadian women are very hot 🇺🇸🇨🇦
Their alcohol culture is more relaxed up there. No one ever asked me for ID.
From my personal experience, I think our hospitality is better than theirs. A lot of businesses in Canada, especially gas stations won't let you use their bathrooms unless you pay or are a customer. At least this has always been an issue for me in BC.
I also don't like how they make non-residents pay more at attractions. In the US, most places don't discriminate based on place of origin.
And Canadians, at least from my personal observations, seem to have a strong dislike of America and American people. The anti-Americanism can be seen everywhere, from the average Canadian to the news media.
I've found a lot of Canadians, at least in Vancouver to be extremely impolite, aggressive and impatient.
And I always thought it was so rude that they just leave their trash in fast foods and movie theaters.
Oh, and I always thought it was funny that they eat French fries with forks and put the pepperoni UNDER the cheese. I was so confused the first time I ordered a pizza in Canada.
I've never been to Vancouver but all of those things you mentioned do not happen on the other side of Canada. So I'm shocked too
Well, except for charging non residents extra. I know Quebec does. But I won't say you're lying, because Vancouver and Toronto have the worst reputations in Canada. All those things I mentioned, I experienced in B. C. I've only been to B. C. and Alberta. It is possible that the eastern provinces are much friendlier. It's the same situation with the U. S. Some regions are friendlier than others.
I won't lie, I'm surprised you took that so well, as most Canadians seem to be very defensive of their country, especially when you tell them they are impolite and intolerant.
It’s often hard for me to tell when someone is American, especially if they are from a state that borders Canada. Their accents are often very similar to what I hear everyday.
Canada has been so inundated with American media and influence, that there is virtually no difference in culture and lifestyle.
I think Canadians care more for their fellow human. Much more compassionate. Americans wrongly think that’s a weakness, but then it takes quite a bit of strength to be like that.

Canadians are geographically, politically & historically aware of the USA.
Americans are geographically, politically and historically unaware of Canada.
Some questions I get from Americans.
Y’all got malls up there?
Did you have to buy a whole new wardrobe to visit warm weather?
Canada is where the communists are.
😑 to be honest I’m glad they don’t know much about us.
That's actually true! Whenever I visit America and guys find out I'm Canadia they act like I'm exotic even though I'm like 10 mins passed the border lol
Yup. Same with me.
Canadians are quiet and passive (unless hockey is involved.)
Americans are loud and rebellious.
Considering almost all Canadians live within an hour of the US border though, most Canadians are just 90-95% the same as Americans, though. Just more mild-mannered and polite (again, unless hockey is involved.)
My sister says that Canadian women used to be way more well behaved, but the internet brought the American whore lifestyle to the masses. Now they sleep around and act out what they see Americans do in porn.
I met a Canadian out here and we stay in touch. Just the accent is distinct, we could be... one big country if we wanted to... you hosers...
It's possible Canadians are sweeter because of all that maple syrup, but I wouldn't know.
the two in front sisters?
I've met a lot of Canadian women and liked them ALL. The thing I like most is they don't act so "entitled" and are more levelheaded. They also know how to keep a man warm through those cold winters, unlike some American girls I've known.
Well one half of Canda is basically just french. Speech is noticeable. Stereotyped as polite when americans are far from it. Less conservatives. I have never seen such thing as "Canda dream" like an "American dream" meaning probably less delusional people who are more down to earth.
Probably less racist but.. then again half is french so maybe racist from that side I suppose.
Gonna guess drugs, especially weed is more accepted there.
You’re wrong. Half the country is not French. Only 23% of the population is Francophone. www.canada.ca/.../facts-canadian-francophonie.html
And weed is completely legal here. Other drugs are not accepted and they are illegal.
@musicbrain5 I didn't mean literally half. And I didn't mean legal wise.
Yet you said half twice, lol. Sounded like you were sure about it so I just wanted to set it straight.
@musicbrain5 Nah I said basically to show that i knew it wasn't actually half. I didn't know the real number all I knew is much of one side of Canada is french and has a lot of native speech in french. Which will be different to America which will no doubt be Spanish.
And when speaking of America I would say basically one half is Mexican but of course the real number is no way near as such but it's how one thinks especially if ya think about south of America leading into mexico.
But anyway I am sure the french influence on Canada makes it different in a lot of ways. I suppose I would also say Canada is basically half British too with ya know the British Columbia.
The only time I noticed a difference was when I was in Quebec and the language most of the natives speak if French and one of my friends I was with understands French told me they seem to be biased against Americans (not all of them). Besides that I don't notice any difference at all unless I'm asked what province I live in which in the US It would be "what state do I live in" 😄
There really aren't a lot of differences between Canadians and Americans. Maybe some minor variations in accent and words used, and Canadians understand the metric system better than Americans. Some people (wrongly) consider Canada as the 51st state.
As an Australian if I hear a North American accent I would be most likely to ask if they are Canadian only because Canadians seem more sensitive to being thought to being Americans than vice versa. I can't really tell the difference in most cases.
Canadians are more polite I think but all North Americans are far more polite than Aussies.
In short can't tell the diff.
Canadians seem to have a lot more awareness of the world. They SEEM (just by my experience) friendlier and have more common sense/knowledge.
From my European point of view: Canadians are better educated, better informed, politically more sane, physically and mentally healthier, more polite.
In other words, they fall in line more often with leftist ideology
A lot. I've got a Toronto Chick in the roster as well as some girls from America. Biggest difference is Canadian women are more adventurous and open sexually. When I worked in the nightlife industry the higher archy of getting girls in the club went
1. Canadians
2. Brazilians
3. Norwegian countries
4. (Tie) German - Russian
5. Americans
There's no so distinguishable difference between two nations I have noticed so far but Canadians are a bit whiter than Americans. Furthermore Canadians are much more polite, welcoming, insightful. Anyway, America is very diverse country with too many ethnic groups inside.
Not much of a difference I went to a restaurant in Canada this one woman was very conservative about it so much, I just wanted my money back and she just kept insisting on making me another one that’s about it. But eventually she gave me my money back. I didn’t feel that there would be any new improvements made to the sandwich it was just a cheap sandwich not worth the money they were asking.
On the surface you can't tell the difference. Given time you can pick up on different phrasing. I'd wager that the US and Canada are the two most similar countries in the world.
Physical appearances look similar, even among the immigrants.
It's in the attitudes, speech & accents where differences are noticeable.
Trudat
Canadian tend to be more civilised, and you can always spot a murican, a mile away
Yooper talk both Canada and high north midwest USA Dialect of English
Yeah, der hey, You betcha, aboot time der hey there
https://www.youtube.com/embed/hwWYQ7wjwd8Same because both are multicultural countries. Both have freedom. Geographically, it is close. So yea no difference.
I can't tell a difference in looks nor accent
Canadians generally have a different accent.
Canadians speak slightly differently. Say an odd 'err' sound between words.
I don't know if I was just in a poor area of Canada. But I only visited there once. And everyone assumed I was rich just because I was American. Is that what Canadians really think of Americans?
From my limited encounters Canadians are more polite
I don’t know many Canadians, but I love you country. So beautiful and spacious. I would live there if I didn’t have obligations here.
Canadians are more likely to laugh at my bad jokes.
Can you take Justin Beiber back? We'll keep Ryan Reynolds.
Canadians seem to have better Sci-Fi shows. I notice because I'm a Sci-Fi freak.
I cannot tell the difference at all. But I love Elisha Cuthbert and Bryan Adams... 😀
Canadians drive like this…
And Americans drive like this…
Americans and Canadians are technically still at war for 161 years.
English with a French accent and French with an English accent.
Mostly Canajuns are HAWTer, cuz of their SEXIER accents and English!
Canadians have weird accent and are weird people end of story.
Yeah I haven't noticed much of a difference either.
From what I've seen, Americans relate more things to politics and get worked up over the details.
Not much
sometimes how words are said.
Manners
Yes, I agree Canadian girls can be wild
I always found Canadians a lot more gorgeous
My Canadian friend is really nice and friendly tho
I don’t notice any differences in people.
The way we pronounce “about”.
@Msputiton
They pronounce it "Aboat", but even that's very rare to find a Canadian who says it like that. That's more something you might hear in Minnesota.
We say: about.
They say: a boat.
Hey I'm a Hooper
Its pronounced Aboot and not about der hey there don't you know der hey. What Aboot you, do you yooper?
I can't tell. I'm British.
Food language
Canada is like America’s little brother.
Only Canada is technically a bigger country that generally acts more responsible.
@CarrieWilson4567 a bigger country with the population of california, lol. And after they’ve put up with Trudeau’s bullshit, I don’t want to hear any Canadian coming for the US.
Nobody cares what you want.
@CarrieWilson4567 You do, because you're trying to convince me that Canada is superior to the US
They aren't superior, but it also isn't fair to go around claiming Canada is the US's little brother either. It's an entirely different country, with different healthcare, different systems, different languages, and they're part of the commonwealth (They have a King Charles now).
Canadians love their neighbors to the south, and they're grateful to be Allies and trading partners, but they also don't necessarily approve of some of the things that happen in the US, so they aren't completely the same.
@CarrieWilson4567 Right. They're our little brother. They need us to beat up anyone who tries to bully them, they like us, and every once in a while try to act like they're better and have to be checked. They kinda look like us.
Think of the US as Canada's drunk uncle who talks shit and does stupid things.
That's more accurate.
@CarrieWilson4567 yeah, little brothers often like to talk shit about their older brothers to make themselves feel important.
We're talking about entire countries here with millions of people.
You feel so insecure that you need to try to downgrade Canada.
@CarrieWilson4567 didn't you just call the US a drunk uncle? Yeah, little brothers also often feel inferior to their older brothers. But it's ok.
I was showing you how stupid your comparisons are and how it feels.
Canadians are technically neighbors, allies, and US's biggest trading partner. The two countries are rich because of each other. If you wanna have an attitude, nobody really cares because some Americans are known world-wide for being ignorant and disrespectful. It's nothing new.
@CarrieWilson4567 wait, is that more generalizations? I'd rather be rude than being a bitch to my government staying locked in my home and forced to get shots every 6 months for covid.
You're crazy.
@CarrieWilson4567 ok, kiddo
We are extremely nationalistic.
WHO?
Ok!!
I feel the same. . Pretty much the same..
Lol. Y’all look the exact same to me
I was wondering that too...
In their Accent? None!
Very little.
