Those two are some of the smartest politicians of my lifetime. There is something you have to understand about this. Southern states such as Arizona, Texas, and Florida are suffering from the influx of migrants coming into their state. There is an increase in violence and ordinary Americans don't want illegal strangers roaming their streets. Politicians in blue states live in luxury homes in luxury areas and have no idea what southern states have to deal with. So, DeSantis and Abbott are sending these illegal immigrants to those luxury areas and blue states so those blue politicians can experience for themselves the issues the southern states are dealing with. You will never know what something is like until you experience it in person. Mayor Eric Adams of NY is calling an emergency because the city doesn't have the resources to support all these people. Same with the governor of Illinois. It's also an excellent way to bring more attention to how the border is not secure. Kamala Harris spread a big fat lie in a recent interview about the border being secure.

Perhaps if they took steps to ensure the people being sent had food and lodging upon arrival, then you maybe you could call them good people. But since it was actually meant to be a sort of “shock and awe” for the receiving end, they literally used these people as political pawns, and that’s just not the kind of thing nice people do.

I would have no problem with it if they collaborated with the sanctuary states and cities first, but they don't - it is meant to be an ambush, not an act of charity. They also do not tell the people they sent where they are going - which may be illegal.
