I can’t think of anything they have in common, Other then they both live in sun blessed states. Politically morally religiously I don’t see anything they have in common. Unfortunately I would paint all democratic and republicans in this manner democratic don’t have anything in common with republicans and republicans have nothing in common with democrats. So are we gonna go back to the articles of confederation? Are we going to have a hot civil war? Are we going to divorce as a nation? Or are we going to continue electing our dictator every 4 years and hope our party gets luck (our party meaning what ever side you take politically)

Fair but that speaks to a greater issue in society. If what is Santas and Gavin Newsom have nothing in common them there not much point for them to live in the same country together. Now that’s just 2 people, in 2 different states, if Florida and California has nothing in common and California has more in common with Washington and Oregon shouldn’t they become there own country same goes for regional difference like the mid west vs New England. Not much sense for them to continue living in the same country. .

This is the free I think American have on both sides if we can’t trust our neighbors because they voted for the other guy (be it a republicans who voted for trump and democrats who voted for Biden don’t trust each other). The one is going to have to move to another state and we continues the Great sort we’re seeing. Eventually we have 2 options left and the consequences that may follow
1 keep battling on who runs the federal government and democratic will undo everything republicans do and visa versa basically electing a dictator every four years
2 Go back to an articles of confederation model where we’re still united but the federal government has virtually no power to tax its citizens detail pretty much all the power it’s like a 90% States 10% federal government split.
Options 1 leads to hot civil war
Option 2 leads to a peaceful separation of the country. Whether that means a large split like United States of Canada vs Jesus land or every state becomes its own country or regional separation.

I doubt it Gavin Newson pro abortion DeSantis pro life. Newson pro transitioning children. Ron DeSantis totally against that, and yes DeSantis is against transitioning adults. Again Newson supports that. DeSantis can define what a women is Newson can’t. DeSantis supports school choice Newson doesn’t. DeSantis is willing to go after Disney for getting involved in the politics of his state Newson is not. Newson I’m pretty sure is a atheist he calls himself Catholic I guess but he like Biden and Pelosi a CINO (Catholic in name only) DeSantis is a devout Christian. I can’t think of 1 thing they have in common I would even say Newson supports theft otherwise he would stop people from steeling less then 900$ worth of crap.
