I dont stand for every pledge or national anthem. doesn't have anything to do with political stuff. Me and my former classmates just didn't feel like it. We didn't always standup or put our hands over our chest or say it or whatever. In HS I only had one teacher who was former military and got mad and made the whole class stand and redo it after.

Never taken a knee myself but I don’t particularly care for contrived shows of patriotism. What does it accomplish? I’m usually in line getting a beer at the ball game during the anthem. If someone wants to use the occasion to protest, then I respect that. Free country and all.

I ignore the anthem. It’s USA propaganda. I get my USA hardon when I move in immigrants into their new apartments.

And then the immigrants complain about my hadron.

Never did. Never will! The Anthem represents the country that the flag stands for. Also the people who died fighting for the rights and freedoms that we experience today. If you feel that you can't respect this. Then leave!
