Why do conservatives treat liberals as their enemy but then they get all butt hurt when liberals treat them the same way?

For example, trump supporters and so called independents call liberals enemies of america and socialists and they have said much worse but and they expect liberals to take it but then if hillary dares to call them a basket of deplorables, everyone gets offended at her for calling them out or Joe Biden calling them a threat to the US and constitution and the rule of law.

It's 2 different kinds of treatment though, to be sure. Conservatives might have been patronizing to Liberals before 2015-2016, but nothing Conservatives have said or done has ever come remotely close to the level of vindictiveness that the average Liberal started showing Conservatives.

There's just a certain shittiness. Like a desire to genuinely hurt Conservatives, and we never once saw that go the other way around. People who I would have otherwise said were sweet people just turned into these crazed monsters that would literally assault people and try to deprive them of their ability to make a living.

To act like there has EVER been a comparable vindictiveness from Conservatives is just being dishonest.

Oh please, conservatives act like complete babies, for example when UC Berkeley protested having a known racist and misogynist from speaking on campus you went nuts and acted like victims because we didn't want you to speak.
