Too reliant on technology to look up answers instead of retaining knowledge themselves.
Millennials are easily fooled and believe lies more often that Gen Z does. I respect Gen Z more than millennials.
I am from the last of Gen X so I really don't fit with most of Gen X or Millennials for much of my life experiences. I think Gen X and Millennials were too promiscuous and used too much drugs. Gen Z is promiscuous too, but not as many as Gen Z and Millennials seemed to be from what I have seen.
Baby boomers had many bad parents and that is a large contributing factor why the generations they raised are as messed up and ignorant as they are.

Eh, the older I get the less I care for young people. They are so passionate and energetic about things, but either haven’t actually questioned the validity of their own beliefs and opinions and the evidence on which they stand, or they neglect to look at the consequences of their beliefs and where it all leads in 10, 20, or 30 years. Young people have a tendency to be absurdly idealistic, as if they are the first generation that had new and novel ways of doing things or tackling the problems of humanity. They are so sure of themselves in fact, that if you contradict them or question them, they get upset, walk off, or call you a racist/sexist/homophobe/transphobe/boomer/bigot/or fascist.
That’s young people today. They are absolutely convinced of themselves, completely certain of their beliefs, while lacking experience, historical perspective, or an understanding of the world.

For me I have trouble relating to my teenage son sometimes because I grew up in the 80s and 90's. This is a different time now and kids get their information online.
He doesn't always want to listen to me or go by my life experiences.
It's a strange time to be a parent of a teen.
It's probably a mix of hope/respect and condescension. Like a lot of older people especially when it comes to work underestimate young people cause "they've been doing it longer" and so the younger person isn't taken as seriously. Same thing applies in other situations
The average (or: typical) young person: I don't share their interests, preferences and habits.
Every now and then I get to know someone who's an exception.
I do have points of criticism - but I won't be around long enough to see shit finally hitting the fan; so it's not my problem.
That depends if they know how to install points and condenser into a 55 chevy with instructions written in cursive.
