  Top 5 strongest hurricane in Florida history. Some places might see 18 ft storm surge. 155 mph sustained winds with higher gusts. Tornadoes spinning off of it tearing shit up. Erratic shifting path... I have family that have been in the dark without electricity since 6AM... They are exactly 18 ft above sea level... :/ Hoping it turns before it gets to them.

  I'll be fine. I'm on the east coast. Just a lot of rain and a couple tornado warnings so far. Streets are flooded but we're likely not going to get more than tropical storm winds. That said they have extended hurricane warnings to the east coast as of 11 AM which was unexpected. The forecast was for a landfall at category 3 120 mph winds and it powered up to a high cat 4 at 155. 157 is a cat 5. Family was expecting 4-7 foot storm surge yesterday. Shit changed fast.

  It turned several miles before hitting their house... They survived. They had to screw their doors shut with 3 inch screws in the middle of the storm because their doors where failing, but no one got hurt. 3 or 4 trees snapped in half and fell around the house. Got lucky. :)
