@Esperdragon. My problem with this Green New Deal. I can’t name anything that they are promoting that the backlash isn’t a whole lot worse then their short term outcome. Meaning probably about two decades!
Melting down the power grids to charge EV’s. To me isn’t a good thing. Expensive gas that make necessary items too costly for lower class people to afford. Wind power that fails at times of need. Shutting down nuclear power plants. There by reducing the availability of electricity. Solar panels that help the economy of China. A country that is buying US coal to probably sell to European countries because of the pipeline damage!
I understand that lithium mining literally rapes the earth and next question is. Can we recycle all of this green stuff at the end of its life cycle?
I agree that there should be cleaner energy. But it can not be accomplished overnight!
If they would have left the energy supply alone and added a fifty cent cleaner energy gas tax to two dollar gas. The price of fuel would still be half of what it is now! And the economy would not be wrecked!
