It’s the Dems fault for:

1) electing this crotchety senile old man to begin with. He won the primaries JUST on name recognition for being Obama’s VP despite clear signs of cognitive decline even back in 2020. He also would never beat anyone else in 2020 election except Trump. He was solely won for being NOT Trump in 2020. That’s it. For obvious reasons that approach in itself isn’t going to work in 2024.

2) hiding his cognitive decline from the general public until it was too late. The mass media was on full board with this too. Leftist journalists have been feigning shock about this recently which is complete bs. They knew all along. They kept claiming his senility was “MAGA propaganda” but it’s not. The presidential debate blew this out of the water.

Anyway Biden wants to stay in the race for himself. It’s to protect himself and his family. Not for what’s best for democrats. It’s also about money for him and his family. Legal protection for his own corruption.

Also even though he “said” he wouldn’t pardon his son Hunter I have no doubt he will reverse himself on that. No way he will late his son go to prison especially if it’s a long sentence. Especially if he loses in November he still can issue a pardon before he leaves office.

I fully believe that, had Gretchen Whitmer run, she could defeat Trump. I also suspect Cory Booker and perhaps even current Secretary of Commerce and former RI Governor Gina Raimondo. Whitmer declined any presidential run though.

No one can, really. This is because of the nature of the primary system; Biden has enough pledged delegates that MUST vote for him to secure the Democratic nomination. For there to be an open convention, Biden must surrender his pledged delegates to let them vote for someone else.
