YAY! I managed to get the night off work because a bunch of my friends are all getting together to watch it and have a drinking party as well as a bingo game. I don't know what all of the drinking words are yet, but I know some of them will be Russia, Russian collusion, Felon/felony, conviction/convicted, (convicted felon, only counts as one drink) January 6th/Jan 6th, fake news, Covid/COVID-19, Vaccine, China, Fauci, Dementia, laptop, and Hunter Biden. Obviously, they'll be more, and actual issues like the border, mass deportations, fentanyl, and the economy don't count because they're actual issues that affect us going forward. the list that was in my email just looks like stuff that's already happened that will not affect us as a country regardless of who gets elected, and thus are irrelevant in a debate, except to make one or the other look bad. I've already made it clear that since I'm not a big drinker, a "drink" for me means a small sip. (which was acceptable to the host, who happens to be one of my best friends in the whole world, since second grade.)
I'm really looking forward to this debate. It's gonna be a lot of fun. I mean, hey… When the meteor slammed into earth, the dinosaurs were busy eating, drinking, and fvcking, so we might as well do the same tonight! Because no matter who wins the debate or the election, the country is fvcked one way or the other!

You had me up until the last sentence. I think that's an uninformed conclusion. I think one choice is a good one and the other is a disaster. However, I do agree that if president Trump wins, the Democrats will do whatever they have to do to make sure he is unsuccessful, just like they did in his first term. They don't want a successful country they want complete authoritarian control over the population. And they have reached a scorched Earth point where if they aren't the ones who have the power of complete control over the country they would rather destroy the country instead. So it is going to take every bit of strength that President Trump has left to turn the ship around after 4 years of destruction under Biden. I agree that won't be an easy task, but if anyone can accomplish it he can. The alternative is unthinkable.

This is why I hate politics. People treat it not like a team sport. People treat it like a team religion. And its not enough to believe in the same god, you have to agree on the same savior, same denomination, and the exact same interpretation of sacred texts. Otherwise it’s all out holy war. People lose friends, they stop talking to their “crazy, idiotic” family members… Name a team sport where people stop talking to family over a lost sports-ball competition? Not one? But, those type oof people say, THIS is different, because this is an existential fight! Well, you know what? There is nothing more “existential” than “heaven or hell”! Face it, politics has become a religion to many, many people, and sooner or later, the crusades are coming… Well that or the Spanish inquisition, or the caliphate of the ottomans! I turned my back on the actual religion a long time ago, I’m certainly not signing on to be a believer in this new religion. That’s all I have to say. I’m just agnostic on the whole Sanctipolitica. Well there objectively WAS a pre- all of those regimes. they didn't exist at the beginning of time. there WAS a time before they took power. but you point is taken. I never wrote that I’m not voting! Sorry sweetie, but my parents lost lifelong friends over the 2016 election, because they didn't vote for the RIGHT savior! (or DID vote for the wrong savior). I learned at 12 years of age the importance of NOT discussing who I am voting for! What can I say, I’m one of the rarest of creatures, a Gen-Z woman who does NOT feel the need to discuss every detail of my life, OR my political beliefs with ANYONE, let alone people I do NOT personally know!

But... If you REALLY need to know what I personally believe Then just DM me and explain EXACTLY WHY it matters to YOU what a 21 y/o woman in college BELIEVES…. Trump needs the debate to get his message out. I have no doubt that he and his preparers have developed a strategy for taking. Any question Democrats ask + including his personal message in it. That way they cannot mute his microphone when he starts to give the answer that he wants to give.

Since they are muting their microphones after they talk they should be allowed to talk about anything they want in them couple of minutes they have for each answer. It shouldn't matter whether it has anything to do with the question or not. We'll see if they let them do that. If they don't it's a scam.

It's possible. They've been reporting and reporting that Michelle has repeatedly said she's not interested. Just the number of times they've denied it makes me suspicious.

They need another puppet like Biden was so Hussein can continue to run the show. Who better than Michelle? Even if she doesn't want to run they can tell her "Look you don't have to do anything. Hussein and his operatives will do all the work. All you have to do is sign stuff and make believe you're president.

It's a chilling prospect. They need a figurehead who they can fool enough people with to be Trump. And I can't think of anyone else but her. So even if she doesn't want it the pressure on her may be enormous. And there is a chance that that was the plan all along and she does want the job.

It's a terrifying prospect but definitely a credible option.

Trump is doing well staying on point. He is well prepared. Joe Biden's eyes are wide open. While Trump was talking about the recent deaths of American girls by the illegal aliens that Biden let come into the country all Biden could do stand there with his mouth open.

Not going to give your far right misinformation a free click but I suspect the debate will be as boring and uneventful as anyone would expect. There isn't really anything to debate between these two. Trump wants his head stuffed with rage to be the source of all power and all must kiss his ring to access it. Biden wants to quietly do his job. These are fundamentally different universes and anyone who is on the fence at this point can't really care much about politics in the first place.
