Being tall. That is pretty normal, for most people. It is also easier to be social at a higher altitude. Just easier to look someone in the eyes when you are speaking to them. I guess combine those two points and you get social norm.

Just ask @blackcupcake @msputiton @emiliamazing or @Agape93 what is like to be a normal height. Makes life so much easier. I know it may sound silly to you, but it really isn't all that silly to the rest of us normal sized people.

You fun-sized folks should really join the rest of us up here. It will really help out with other social norms like being able to put something on the top shelf of the refrigerator or hold a glass without it looking like a bucket.

So, not so much silly social norm but just a "norm". Again, that is for the vast majority of us. You munchkins might consider this outside a social norm since you are flying at a lower altitude than the rest of us.

Hope you had a good weekend, and that it was worth taking off from here. You misused your break that I give you. Welcome back and Happy Monday!

I had a girls night out this past weekend. Some thing that really helps, even though I'm considered slightly short, is finding a restaurant that has high top tables and barstools. It makes it much easier to look over the crowd, and I feel like it's a safer environment. I can't imagine what it is like having people constantly look down on you. Thank goodness for tall tables!

@Emiliamazing I am thinking you should use those little baby bouncy chairs that are on wheels as a base for the idea. Just turbocharge the springs so he can rocket himself out of it to grab things from the bottom shelf at the store.

That is an excellent idea. We can make it portable by carrying around a long pole that is forked at the end! I think my son was really looking forward to getting some gears and a crank involved though.

@Emiliamazing Expanding on that gears and crank. Perhaps that could be mounted to the side so he could crank the springs tight for launch.

My thoughts exactly! Although it would be fun to really make it complicated and have it be cranked from behind the slingshot, that way Pauly would have no idea who might be sending him up in the air!

That you are succesful or happy when you're in a relationship. The moment they hear you're single they act all shocked and surprised like you should be ashamed of being single.

Birthdays are supposed to be celebrated, big parties, restaurants, ... I don't like that. I would rather spend it on my own or with a handful of people close to me. People also feel the need to gift things. Not needed.

I find it silly, but my husband does not, that men open the doors for the ladies. He tries very hard to do that for me, even if I should be the one opening the door for him if we are carrying in groceries, or back in the day when our children were infants. Silly man!

I think the having to choose your sexual orientation is silly because a lot of people are miserable because of it.

I think people would be a lot happier if they didn't have to worry about does this make me gay, straight or bi.

Just do i find this person attractive or not

      Yes.
I mean it really seems like something society put in place to kinda try to contol people.

"You must be straight, gay or bi. And if you're not straight there is something mentally wrong with you"

I mean pretty suspicious that they push that narrative for so long. And how many men especially get upset when they find out they find a transgender attractive because they are supposedly "straight"

      @emiliamazing i don't use them.

I think it is funny that if you are at a restaurant with somebody and one person's food comes first, either they have to ask or the other person has to bring up "go ahead and eat, don't wait for me!" And then some people wait anyway despite that!

Also exactly what we do is different depending on who I am eating with. If it is my family, my parents will wait if their food comes out first but I do not wait if my food comes out first. If it is my friends, we do not wait and we steal food from each other without asking anyway so we all start eating at the same time anyway!! If it is my fiance, he will wait for me (and I steal food from him if he has something I want) I do not wait for him. Hmm maybe I am selfish!!
