I did the research. Of the top 22 wealthiest families in the USA, THIRTEEN of them are outright Republican supporters with the TOP 6 being ALL Republican supporters! Only TWO are outright Democrat supporters, while 7 families support both.
Tell me again who the elite are, Tulsi? Well, to my mind, they're ALL elite so it doesn't matter, but my point is, she's just another mouth spouting misinformation because it sounds good to "working class Republican base" who still believe their previous mouthpiece wasn't an elitist.

Ron DeSantis is #1 on my list. If Gabbard runs as an independent or libertarian, I doubt she will get enough votes because we are so used to having only two parties. If Gabbard wants to win then she will have to run as a republican even if she does not align with everything republican.

I would prefer Trump takes it again and, hopefully, has Ron as his VP and then Ron can take over at Pres. and even take trump as VP and we get 12 years of Trump-like policies and THEN Tulsi can take over!! Or, of Don doesn't want to be Ron's VP, Tulsi can take it and then she can be Pres. for 8 years and we'll continue to get a Trump-like era for ANOTHER 8 years!! I forget what it was I didn't like about her the first time she ran but, that was the ONLY thing I had against her being Pres.. Maybe she's changed her mind on that by now.
I really don't see what difference your party is, it's just a label. What matters is what you plan to do with the job and how well you'll do. Kennedy was a Dem and he did a lot of great stuff!! It's kinda like The Beatles, they were on at least 8 different labels over here but ALWAYS made great music! Nobody but us record collectors gave a shit what label they were on!! Most people never even noticed!! As long as it said, Beatles, they KNEW they were getting some really good stuff!! The label on the product doesn't much matter, it's what the product is and does that matters!
If she goes independent or Libertarian I would vote for her in a heartbeat. I have said before she was the only Democrat I would have voted for if she had won the primary.
However if we want to be real, given how little people seem to know about her and the fact that even on the primaries she barely had any power or spotlight time (biases in play there) I don't feel she would be able to generate the votes required to make much of a difference.
If anything what she is doing here by drawing headlines with her decision to call out the Democrats for their failures and leaving as a result, she is in turn getting more attention which can turn her favor considerably by drawing voters with her policies now that she helped herself.

Republicans had no wars with Trump as President. Rocket Man didn't fire missiles over Japan. China didn;t shoot rockets into Taiwan. Putin didn;t destroy Ukraine. This has happened with Biden.
Tulsi Gabbard, just like I wish I could have in 2020. And like I said before, they'd sooner shoot Trump than let him run again, and he likely wouldn't sway away swing voters. Republicans should be more focused on DeSantis than the pipe dream of four more years of Trump.
Her departure speech pretty much says the reasons I'd just slap a vote down for Trump, De Santis, or any Republican first before any Democrat right now... she'd get my vote eventually, but she did give an endorsement to Biden. I voted for Jo Jorgensen last time and wouldn’t mind voting for Tulsi if some of her domestic policies changed (don’t remember what they were, just remember wishing she wasn’t as anti-gun. Love her non-interventionism though, but currently she’s just on my “the only democrat I’d ever vote for if I absolutely had to vote for one” list.
I always liked and respected Tulsi even when she had "Democrat" by her name.
Because I want to believe that there are reasonable Democrats that we can disagree with, while knowing they at least have the country's best interest at heart. I don't want to live in a world where one political party has more influence than the other, because checks and balances are important.
