Tulsi Gabbard for next President?

Trumps days are numbered. Whether they are 3 years or more, or less, they are numbered. He has internal arterial issues and term limitations. There will be a next.

Hear ye hear ye americans and internationals, would you like to see Tulsi Gabbard as your next President?

A strong chance she gets my vote... and I generally don't like women for high positions. I think she has the right stuff, maybe, possibly.

Nope. Trump is not going anywhere, anytime soon. Come the next election, the Republican party will still need to keep MAGA onboard to stand any chance of winning - that's just simple maths (there aren't enough millionaires in the US to win an election solely on the basis of a pledge to cut taxes for the rich) - and Trump will still hold sway with them.

But three years is a long time to stay in Trump's good books without getting thrown under the bus (Mike Pence), and it's extremely hard to do that without showing yourself to be an unelectable crazy person (Matt Gaetz, Marjorie Taylor-Greene).

My bet is that the next Republican nominee will be someone who is not even on anybody's radar right now.
That will go very badly, and they'll realize that Trump's cult is just that - a personality cult, and without him, it's nothing.
So then in 2032, they'll go back to someone like Paul Ryan, who has been busy raising his kids and avoiding any association with Trump (exiting politics as soon as Trump won), while positioning himself well for a run at some point in the future (eg. his involvement at Fox News).

Tulsi might have a shot in 2028, but at this point I still suspect it will either be Florida Governor Ron DeSantis or Vice President J. D. Vance.

Who typically becomes President? Looking back at elections, it is:

A Governor - frequently

A Senator - Sometimes

A Vice President - Sometimes

I supported Tulsi in 2020, and wold support her again. I truly hope she runs in 2028 and wins the Republican primary in a landslide, going to be fun watching Democrats head's explode as they watch everyone they've been accusing of being sexist and racist overwhelming election a minority woman.

I like the sentiment, but if we have learned anything about the Demunist Commiecrats, is that they will go to any extent to smear someone, and a woman of a different ethnicity who dares defy them would only get targeted more.

Tulsi Gabbard is a moderately attractive, decently intelligent career broad who'd likely be a HORRID President, though perhaps not quite as bad as 45/47.
