Why do police constantly break the law by violating people's Constitutional rights?

Most people don't even know their rights. And we have so many bootlickers, it has become impossible to simply make officers respect the law. Right now, it is impossible for them to hold them accountable, because of "qualified immunity".

US cops are there to uphold and enact the law- not help the public.

The first rule of being a good cop, is not to get caught being a bad cop. Orange Country clearly had incompetent cops.

The thing about being an official or public servant once you knowingly break the law and there's no punishment for doing so you increasingly become more corrupt without restraint.

It's up to higher officials with integrity to punish these cops who do wrong to put a end to their BS.

she's been in a criminal justice career for a long time... and many things in her record are contradictory, which shows that she is willing to switch and screw people as she sees it convenient for herself and her career

which is in a way, what you say... undermining the rights of the people, in order for her to advance

A Psychopath is a person without a conscience who is devoid of any guilt, and our political and economic systems heavily favor such people. CEOs, criminals, cops, and politicians are often psychopaths. She most certainly did not get there by accident - she has the right lack of compassion and manipulative behavior to be a politician.
