I believe that rich assholes can get away with crime with their money by hiring lawers or bail, so what do you think?

Um, you don't get convicted BEFORE your trial. Unless you mean someone who was convicted of a previous offense, in which case, hell no- do you honestly think people are LESS likely to accuse/arrest someone who's previously been convicted with scanty evidence?

And how, exactly, is a prior offender supposed to become a "rich asshole" when it's all but impossible to get any but the most menial jobs with a felony on your record?
