Even if someone commits a crime with direct evidence they still are afforded due process in a court of law. agree or disagree?

So lets say there's a thief that was caught red handed. should they still receive due process in court of law and judged by a jury of their peers? or should we skip all that and just throw them in prison straight up?

Agree. we should still adhere to the constitution and afford a suspect due process no matter how guilty they seem
Disagree. if its totally obvious with unimpeachable that they committed the crime they should just be thrown in prison without the usual constitutional procedure
I'm not sure

Good we all still agree that due process is something everyone on U. S. soil should have regardless of how open and shut a case seems.
