I really don't know too much about him, all I do know of him is that during the pandemic he threw a "covid party" and he insulted Trump after the 6th of January 2021 insurrection. Other than that I really don't know how he is like as a leader

Well to Brits since it's from what I heard and seen they're very progressive so to some of them they probably want someone less like Trump

They are very left-wing in world-view. Both major parties there are similar to Democrats when it comes to world-view (hell, Conservative PArty actually legalised homosexual marriage). They only differ when it comes to economy: Conservative Party wants lower taxes and Labour wants higher taxes.

When I said that "Johnson is a soft version of Trump" I meant his rhetoric. When it comes to positions, he's a typical British Tory. For example - he's pro abortion.
