How do you think the human population will decrease in the future? How much maximum human population can keep up with the world

Nope. Population is self regulating. If anything we need to slightly pump up Population.

Every person alive needs to have on average 2.3 children to sustain humanity. In the first world nation they are having way less then that. Imagination helps a lot but as more countries develop less people immigrant.

Japan is a good example of the world of a stagnating aging population. Worst immigration laws, worst neo-liberal work life balance. The older population that are becoming the dominant pop are working less and the young adults who could have children are working too much to have children of there own.

Population that turns into labor is a form of capital resources. It needs to be sustainable and better yet growing faster then dying off. So long as we live in a capitalist we can't afford to play at a population loss. Maybe we can reevaluate once we are like star trek technology but nkt a day sooner.

The Earth can handle around 18 billion people. The use of land isn't managed well in some areas though, but if it was there could be 18 billion people and be sustainable.

Lots of land is wasted now though. People could easily have their own gardens in their yard but most don't.

It seems like most people nowadays want the population to either stop growing or to reduce (especially bill gates who hinted at the earth ending up with less than a billion in the "ideal" future). In my opinion, it would be nice if the United States reached at least a billion by the 2070s.

Also, I don't think resources for a growing population will be an issue if we focused on being smart about it. Instead of trying to reduce the population, focus on being sustainable enough to provide for a bigger population and actually creating said population.

It will happen because agriculture efficiency will decrease dramatically in next decades. Oceans and seas are overfished already, mineral and humus content of most crop production soils is very low. Clean water is already a problem.

Yeah I mean who wouldn’t wanna go to the store and it not be crowded nobody wants to spend an hour Getting a few things but Reducing Population is just Immoral and Rude ain’t nothing wrong with killing a fetus though a fetus doesn’t have have a consciousness so it’s not even A conscious Being It’s only evil to kill things with Actual feelings and pain receptors and a fetus can’t feel anything so it ain’t wrong.

Mother Nature thinks so. There are so many people that feeding and housing them is extremely difficult.

If you look at history, global population has occasional dips. We might be ready for another one.

1) desired by whom? Certainly not a conspiracy of anyone. If anything corporations and govts want more consumers
2) but yes I think there needs to be less humans. We’re ignoring a fresh water crisis, even food production. I mean science could and prob will solve these for us. But still, give us some breathing room.

I don't know if there are too many people. However, if there are too many people, experiments with rats and mice have proven that the population will maximize, followed by a population crash.
