Recent research predicts that the global population may enter a declining stage after reaching its peak in the next few decades.

Some people think that this is good news for the environment and resources, and the pressure on the earth will be reduced;
However, some people worry that it will bring about labor shortage, aging and economic stagnation.

I’m so sick of people regurgitating this idea as if they’re talking about the whole world and not just the stupid US.
The idea that it’s decreasing specifically comes from the fact that WHITE people are not having as many WHITE babies. For example, in India the population rate is on a massive rise, humanity isn’t going to die out just because one specific race isn’t meeting a specific rate of reproduction. And that race with lowered birth rates isn’t going anywhere either, I hate this overhyped fatalistic bullshit.

Good. Collectively we have long lost the right to continue. Just as well, we will go extinct within the next 50 years.

Good and bad. There different countries and different cultures. Some countries the population is growing. Mainly western countries where the women are feminized to hate marriage, kids and families and careers and promiscuity are glorified by the warped culture.

I don't know if the planet's population is dropping overall but in Europe and USA, the Judea/Christian, enlightenment culture is shrinking. Muslims and Indians are breeding like rabbits.
