Why wasn't Jeffrey Dahmer executed?

J. Dahmer was arrested in WI, and also wanted by the police in Columbus, OH. Because he was initially arrested in WI for similar crimes he committed in OH, WI got the opportunity to try him 1st. WI does NOT have the death penalty (OH still does).

IF... IF Dahmer somehow got off with a not guilty or hung jury verdict in WI, THEN OH would immediately have had their say in a trial against him. He most likely would have been sentenced to death in OH.

I guess even prisoners have a limit to what they'll tolerate, because they did the job the court SHOULD have done in WI.

The law shouldn’t dictate whether someone dies or not. Don’t you think it’s hypocritical to put someone to death for causing death unless if they are currently in action of killing people?

Some countries believe death penalty is so bad... it's hilarious... That what makes it so easy for them to do these horrible crimes because they know they get to live and won't be physically harmed... And serial killers are often viewed as perfect material for studies and research... so they actually think they're valuable somehow...

Other than that given how long the US takes to kill someone his somewhat ironic end would have beat them to it
