Why is it always the shittiest cultures who think so highly of themselves?

From my personal travels and research I've noticed that the nationalities that boast about how awesome they are, always end up being the shittiest. I'm looking at YOU Italy, Turkey, India, Egypt and USA.

While the ones that are humble and quiet, always end up being the best. Greece, France, UK

I no longer trust any country that claims to have "great hospitality." Truly awesome people will never boast about how awesome they are.
