I think that If someone owns a House/Apartment they can easily withstand economic shockwaves.

I don’t think that an increase in food prices and other necessities is as affecting as an increase in rent prices.

for example, A person has an income of 1000$ per month and doesn’t pay a rent would most likely be happily satisfied with his life.

Unlike a person who has to pay for rent plus necessities.

Notice: The Income I mentioned was random and of-course differs from one place to another.

Yes it is, I’m privileged to own my home, so yeah…with the rising food costs and energy bills. It’s a massive help not having to find the money to pay a mortgage anymore.
