@goaded All I have to say about that Jan 6 is what happened to all the secret service guards that day. Hell I guy drove a truck though the white house gate in 1974 and they stopped him. Someone climb the fence and they got him, some dude with a hang glider or some form of small aircraft and they got him.

Ok as a none American outside observer here is my unbiased opinion.

They are not terrorists in the sense they plant bombs or shoot people. A few shooters does not a terrorist organisation make. But I can see an organised terrorist wing springing up shortly. Sinn Fein had its IRA and I predict the Trump party will form something similar. You've already got proud boys as election observers and armed militia at polling booths to scare off Democrat voters.

The Trump Party will rise to power on a bed of misinformation and lies. The right is far better at using social media to spread propaganda than the left. Watching America is like watching a mother been worn down by screaming toddler until the toddler takes control. The Trump party isn't a terrorist organisation it's far more dangerous.

It's like I said before if you want to go after the protesters at the capital and Trump for his part, go for it. But you also need to go after the people showing up at the supreme court justices houses and the politicians on the left that encouraged and celebrated it.

I'm a independent and the main reason is due to how impartiality is pretty much nonexistent both sides. The right and left will always do everything they can to fool their followers into thinking their party isn't cover in just as much shit as the other. Even when officials and their supporters are caught red handed it will be excused away and somehow blamed on the other side of the isle. Also like it or not but when you decide to put party politics above reason and common scenes, you are actively ensuring the cycle of BS on both sides continues. Because you can't have impartiality and consistency in party politics. That became true when the line between corporate America, Wall Street, to big to fail banks, foreign interests and our government was crossed generations ago.

Without looking any up, I'm thinking of the El Paso killer who killed something like 10 customers buying groceries, the guy who wanted to kneecap Nancy Pelosi and almost killed her husband, the Jan 6 rioters, of course, someone who attacked a Temple fairly recently, the Boogaloo guy who killed two police officers in 2020. There are more, and that's all since 2020.

Okay? I have to take some time and try to make sense of what you wrote. If you're trying to tell me ecofascists aren't environmentalists, I fully reject that! If you're trying to tell me the left wouldn't kill "invaders", as described by the ecofascists, in the name of saving the environment, I also fully reject that. If you tell me that these people have both left and right wing ideology and of course are mentally disturbed, I can definitely agree with that.

Ecofascists are kill the same sorts of people that fascists do, while claiming to be saving the world (not unlike fascists killing people while claiming to save the world from socialism). Perhaps if they were trying to shoot down private jets instead of innocent brown people they might be taken seriously as environmentalists. Environmentalists don't, as a rule, call desparate people "invaders", either. Nor do they kill people.

Since they target innocent people (who aren't affecting the environment any more than they themselves are) based on the victims' religion or skin colour (Christchurch, El Paso, respectively), I'd say right wing.

Left wing terrorists (back in the 70's, mostly) generally went after the powerful, the people or organisations who could actually make a difference. I don't condone anything they did, before you suggest otherwise, any more than you condone today's ecofascists, but I won't try to pretend their views weren't aligned with mine.
