Why are people rude to me?

I always get spoken to roughly or people are just so off with me for no reason

Don't worry, most people are ignorant, have tunnel vision and self absorbed in their own miseries. People are even rude online where you simply ask for helpful opinions.

They don't even spare victims of abuse.

Example : you're asking for help online. You're from a different culture where kids are not allowed to move out at 18, but can do it on the age 26-30 onwards.

You're in your early 20s asking for advice on how to deal with narcissist or controlling parents, 90% people won't even read the details but will judge you by saying "move out, stop being a free loader, lazy scumbag".

This is how this world thinks. But they didn't read the part where there are genuine circumstances that led to this path.

Seriously no one wishes for the troubles they have, all they need is extra time to get out and be independent. But instead of telling them to stay strong or consistent, people attack them for not moving out at 18.

This is not America, other countries have drastically different circumstances (in terms of job vacancies, rent and personal safety).

We weren't raised to move out at 18. We stay with parents forever and then we provide for parents when they get old. It's give and take.

So no one likes being shamed at early 20s to move out or get a job, when the parents are narcissistic. There should be healthier options instead of shaming. You lose your identity with these parents so you naturally need time to find your passion.

Not everyone's a fan of rat race. Majority of people are ignorant and stuck in the sheep mentality so they keep making your pain worse instead of actually thinking from a new perspective.

Life is a difficult balance of standing up for yourself & demanding respect while being supportive and loving towards others.
