Trump is one of the worst presidents ever and certainly the worst since the 19th Century.

For instance, in the Siena College Research Institute: 2022 Survey of U. S. Presidents, Trump ranked 42nd (3rd from the bottom) with only James Buchanan, 43rd, and Andrew Johnson, 44th, lower than Trump. Obama ranked 11th. James Buchanan was the 15th President - the one just before Lincoln. Andrew Johnson was the 17th President - the one just after Lincoln.

In the 2021 C-SPAN ranking, Trump was one President better; he was 41st with Franklin Pierce, the 14th President, as 42nd, joining Buchanan, 43rd, and Johnson, 44th. Obama ranked 10th.

Objectively, it was Obama. He was more likeable, but did way more damage to the United States. Trump was the anti-Obama, highly divisive, but good for the country overall.
