Russia strikes Poland on Accident? Will this cause Article 5 WW3?

Russia has so far "Accidently" striked Poland with two missiles that caused two fatalities in Poland. NATO has called a meeting about this issue people are saying all over they think Article 5 could be invoked causing World War 3.

It seems like it was an accident because why would Putin want WW3 when he's losing ground in Ukraine.

What do you think? Will this cause WW3?

First of all, this was definitely accidental since both the target and the scale was pointless as a first trike if Russia was serious. Secondly, its probably not even Russia since the missiles in question was S300 anti-air defense missiles. In other words, its far more likely to be Ukrainian anti-air defense missiles that tried to shoot down a Russian cruise missile or something and instead of hitting and destroying the Russian threat they missed or malfunctioned and kept going until they crashed into Poland.

After all, there are no known Russian units within S300 range that could have done this.

But even if it was Russia, and even if it was intentional, this would not trigger article 5. Simply speaking, NATO does not want to get directly involved so just because they CAN does not mean they are going to just jump on the chance. Instead they would just use this as a leverage to get better diplomatic concessions or undermine Russia internationally.

Maybe it was an accident. Accidents happen in war. The luftwaffe bombed dublin during WW2 despite Ireland being neutral.

China doesn't want to reveal how weak its military is to the rest of world like the Russians just did. I mean the Vietnamese beat them in the field 30 years ago.

They are already going at it. Historically great empires like the roman empire wage wars well before the first arrow is fired. In most cases in the past the conquest was won before the roman legions fought a battle

It will only if they do not say it was accidental. Most of the recent attacks they used mostly dummy rockets which have little to no guidance. More sections will obviously be made regardless of their response. Biden has been desperately trying to start a war this might be false flag or a convenient reason. I Russia fully admits to an accident and does something like a pullback NATO will do nothing.

Most likely the missiles were deflected by Ukrainian air defenses and went off course. It would be stupid to start WW3 (which is tantamount to ending human life on earth) over this. Besides, Poland has so many of its soldiers in Ukrainian uniform that it is essentially a belligerent in the conflict. It’s lucky if a couple stray missiles is all that hits Poland.
