I approve of everything he's doing. But I still think Twitter is too far gone to be saved and still have no incentive to ever use it. It's like trying to clean up the Great Garbage Patch in the middle of the ocean: admirable but foolish and a giant waste of money.

All these soyboy losers and wastes of sperm sperging out over a toxic social media site like Twitter though... Well, I'll accept that, at least. And mid 30s soyboys linking videos of other soyboys like Adam Conover looks even more pathetic.

His position seems to be that "free speech" includes "the freedom to spew hate" as well, and I don't see them as one and the same. I don't pay all that much attention to Twitter anyway, but a lot of folks do so let's see what happens.

I do approve of it, but at the same time, its too late for a lot of people to go back. I appreciate that he is bringing free speech back and working to stop child porn.

I hate to be the one to say this, but I would rather have Alex Jones take over Twitter than Elon Musk at this point. I do like Musk as a person, but I don't like his lying tactics and his self-styled "centrist" marketing of politics. At least Jones says explicitly what he means. Jones is like that cockroach that destroys your plate; Musk is like an ant that seemingly... unknowingly sh*ts on your plate. I'd rather have Jones than Musk.

I approve. Musk gets away with it because he launches rockets with a higher success rate and more quickly than NASA at 1/100th of the cost, the oligarchy recognizes that this is a product of his managerial capability, and it is critical for national defense. If anyone else did this to Twitter the person would be tied up in court and cancelled.

Don't care to be honest. He was a fool to pay that much for it. But I doubt he will make it worse, you really don't need that many employees to run a software company. But it takes time to reshape it into a new shape. We will see in about two years if it's still standing with that debt mountain.

Strongly approve. Time will show it was the right thing to do.

People may not like the approach he is taking, but it had to happen one way or another because Twitter was in deep trouble and needed to trim a LOT of fat. The company's workforce was comprised of thousands of young, entitled, underperforming employees. That's not an easy condition to reverse. I think the approach he's taking to address that is a god one.
