What are your thoughts on Elon Musk taking over Twitter? Good? Bad?

Personally, I think this is good but it is perhaps too early to tell.

Why is it good? Well, from the sum total of things I've heard about how Twitter is biased, unreasonable, unfair, and overly restrictive makes me believe someone like Elon Musk who has expressed more favorable views on less restrictive speech will make the platform better in my opinion.

He's rightly called himself "Chief twit" as that is exactly what he is - a chief of twits.

You've "heard" wrong, as Twitter actually had a very solid ToS compared to Facebook and other social media platforms. Twitter was pretty democratic in that the weight of the tweet following, reposting and reporting, was more important than the individual.

What right wingers, trolls and shitbags didn't like, was that their postings got little traction or removed outright. Either for violating ToS or getting no following and high reporting. But that is good business practice. You want people who bring in business, engagement, following and content. Not shitpost, bully and spout conspiracy BS. It's why a lot of brands and users have ditched Twitter

Don't use it so it doesn't affect me either way but I think it's a positive thing overall. Because twitter was extremely bias and would straight up ban people and posts that did not adhere to what they thought was correct which is a very dangerous thing when it comes to the flow of information because it's easy to engineer what people are allowed to think and say.

But by having it completely open to both sides of the aisle both sides are able to express their views and opinions but also have to defend them.

Indifferent. It's nothing more than trying to polish a turd and make it smell pretty. I'll continue to watch clients do their part to convict themselves or complicate their lives on social media, regardless who owns the platform.
