In a fit if rage, Kristi shot her pet dog to death. She also murdered her goat because he was "stinky."
I am not saying that Kristi should or should not have shot her dog because I do not know her situation and that dog. I probably would not have shot it. BUT, there are times when, in a farm environment, killing animals including dogs is absolutely necessary. This is one reason why people in "red states" want to keep their guns; on a farm, guns are tools both used for protection of your family and livestock/poultry and as a tool for necessary execution (like a diseased animal so the disease doesn't spread).

I couldn't care less. She lived on a farm. Anyone who thinks farms are nice and tidy don't understand where their food comes from. Anyone who is squeamish about something like this shouldn't be eating food. Nor are they qualified to be president, because presidents WILL need to make decisions about life and death, including the lives of children and babies. If you can't stand the heat, you shouldn't be in the kitchen.
Cold as ice? Yep. A president MUST be cold as ice, or they couldn't do their job properly.
Only someone with the mentality of a Trump supporter would say no big deal. It shows how cold they really are.
It sounds on brand for him so I doubt it would disqualify her in his eyes.

Nothing in the constitution that says shooting your dog prevents you from running as VP, so no it shouldn't be disqualifying. That's said it is morally wrong and people should be questioning their support for her as Trump's VP, of course they wouldn't have to if they questioned their support for Trump.
I think it's a mindset thing. Country people, ranchers, farmers, etc. will put down animals if they are a danger to people or kids. I personally think she put it in her book for other reasons ("See how tough I am... Roar!"). But here's my issue with it: The dog was 14 months old and doesn't seem like it had been trained properly. She also said she "hated that dog" and put it down immediately after the incident, instead of thinking it through. If it was a cow dog, it is in it's nature to nip because that is why people buy cow dogs and that's how they move cows. Young dogs nip and bite things all the time because of their teeth, just like babies do. It's a form of exploration. But occasionally, there are dogs who attack people and legally, you can get into trouble if you don't lock it up, at the very least.
I think she's a perfect candidate for a Trump VP pick, personally... : P
She's for Trump therefore I don't like her.
Shooting her dog is not a thing I care about don't like dogs the same way I don't like cows and eat them all the time, in fact she having a dog in the first place is probably more a reason I don't like her.
If this was some animal I like the answer would be different but still end in me not liking her lol.Trump supporters would happily sacrifice their dog if it got them christian nationalism..
The fact that she likes Trump should disqualify her from being a vice president. On the other hand, maybe she would finally get fed up with him and shoot him. It would not be nice of me to say, "Do it, do it!"
She as done a good job as Governor but showed extremely poor judgement shooting thst dog and even worse judgement putting it in her book. If she thought it would me her look tough she should have kept it to herself/
H**L YES !!! Kristi Noem, 2024's Sarah Palin, isn't fit to be a dog catcher (ironic choice of occupation, eh?), let along one 78-year-old's heartbeat from the world's most important job. (Guess she's marginally qualified to lead her goober/cowboy state with fewer than a million folk.)
It's a "big deal", but considering the type of person Trump appears to be and the type of people his supporters are, it's pretty much a nonissue.
Trump wasn't lying when he said people would still support him if he stood in 5th Avenue and shot people. The devotion some people have for him is scary. She's either a radical, or a psychopath, or both. If she was a guy born in the Middle East, she would have definitely been a terrorist
I'm having impure thoughts about her myself about this. But law and human decency prevents me from carrying them out. She belongs in an asylum in my opinion
Your poll didn't have a "None of the Above" so I didn't vote. While I don't think that is disqualifying, I do think they will be two peas in a pod.
She is simultaneously expressing her first and second amendment rights! Hawt!!! :-P
She wasn’t going to be Trump’s VP. Vivek Ramaswamy will be. Everyone I’ve spoken to about Trump’s potential VP have told me they hope he picks Vivek and I agree with them I want to see Vivek be VP too
“She liiiikes guhhhnnnns, an’ she’s middlin’ attrayuctive!😍😍😍” - MAGA, probably
🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️😂😂😂
When she's lost catturd, Laura Loomer, and Tomi Lauren, all is lost for her
Trump signed animal cruelty into Federal law carrying up to 7 years in jail. She should be charged.
No. It would help her fit right into the Republican Party. Reckless, without care, full of rage.. left isn’t any better. But I know this she will end up a hypocritical in for people to see.
With someone like that by Trumps side, it's obvious they are preparing for civil war.
I don't know this story. Why did she kill a dog?
It's not disqualifying, but is this the best VP candidate? Aren't there better choices out there?
