Skin color in society?

I am a young black woman. I always felt like people treat me differently because of my skin color Or things always just seem more difficult than they need to be or Maybe it's because I am very insecure.

Your feelings are both normal and warranted.
However, I have words of encouragement!
Young lady, it may not seem that the world - especially in a society in which you are a minority - is all that welcoming to you, but, the good news is that it is getting that way. I won't say that, by the time you are my age, racism and bigotry will be over - that's impossible because of human nature - but they will be dying because the world you will inhabit will increasingly be multiethnic with people treating each other more with respect and less based on ethnicity. Put another way, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "I Have A Dream" speech will be much closer to reality by then.

I'm going to go against the grain, I'm white but have a pale complexion, my paleness means I flush easily like a room thays warm or im quickly doing something. So at least 10 times a day I'm called up about my skin tone yup hard to believe, its annoying and it's embarrassing. Would these same people mention skin colour to say someone whose black or Asian? No they would not but seems its acceptable to say to me. Which is why I'm gathering other ethnicities are drawn to me at work because they hear others mentioning my skin tone they know themselves what it is like to be different in a place where they are the minority rather than the majority. Do I treat others differently? No I treat them the same.. I might be white but I change colours easily.

Differently how and what do you mean ”more difficult than they need to be”? It’s very vague. Be specific. Give specific examples.

It's probably because you're insecure. Paranoid people go around thinking everyone has something against them- and this type of psychosis has been promulgated to the black community.

What's more, is that blacks have the luxury of blaming any inconvenience in life on the fact that they're black- like you think us white people walk into a room and we're given the world? Do you assume we never get rejected from schools, from jobs, or from potential love interests? Of course we do, we just don't blame it on our skin tone, except in cases where the school/ workplace has a stated Affirmative action policy, which says the school/ company WILL accept less qualified blacks over white people.

It's largely true that black women are overlooked. But I suppose our society is working on that, however slowly. I would say just don't let go of your aspirations at least until you are 30. By then if there have just been too many roadblocks it is perhaps no longer unwise to consider settling down and devoting your future efforts to giving the next generation a better shot, whatever that may mean at the time. Who knows what the world will look like then, though..

Society, Media, Democrats, who were the slave owners, beat African Americans down. And black women, among the black guys in mt soccer group, rage about how "bat shit crazy" and emotional black women are. I have never experienced but I have not been dated or been intimate with one.

It's because you are insecure.

Even in the case that was relevant to somebody, the world is full of people to what it isn't.

Hence is just a matter of choosing your battles, as with anybody else.
