I think it's because it's like stereotypes. Stereotypes exist! No that doesn't mean just because you're a certain demographic you embody all those stereotypes. But they're not completely made up! They come from somewhere. Women have thier tendencies as MEN have thier tendencies. Women don't typically like being told what thier tendencies are (even if they themselves exhibit them).
