On the flip side of this question there are a lot of men that have children that are of their own blood, yet, they abandon their own children and start a new family with someone else and never pay child support to his first family. That is how I became a "Fatherless Daughter" and the hurt never leaves me.
Why is it ok for two gay men to be married and adopt children? I've seen this on TV a handful of times. Whenever I see this, it leaves me wondering if they are secretly doing inappropriate sexual behaviors with the children they adopted.
Pete Buttigieg who is a gay man and is married adopted a baby not that long ago and was able to take the legal amount of time off from work that you get when you have a new baby - I think it's 3 months. And I believe he has another child in his family with his spouce.
He also ran for president but lost. I think he us currently the Secretary of Transportation.

I am very sorry to hear your situation that is very sad. Maybe I am just different so I will speak for myself and probably a good majority of men too. I wanted children and I wanted daughters not sons not that I don't care about sons it's that I never had girls not for long only when I took care of them. And I am not alone I see the comments made by other men that want to adopt girls too. And they are all met with the same story men suspected of wanting to adopt girls are seen as predators looking for pray because they are straight men. And those suspicions were put into actions and actions that forbid men from adopting girls the very thing that would have prevented me from adopting the little one I took care of for 7 months.

Some people make good parents, some do not.

In my case I was the primary caregiver to my son most of his childhood and I bonded with him more than his mother did. That caused a stronger attachment between us, and his mother was always running away from her parental responsibilities. She was having affairs and going on trips while I was working and raising our son. She missed out on a lot of his childhood and that's on her.

I can related to the running away from her responsibilities. A child was dropped off to me in the middle of the night and her mother didn't come back to get her. She cried the first night and I comforted her. She never cried again after that and I had her for 7 months she became my child. I spoiled her during that time and isn't it ironic that I can't even adopt because I am a he and not a she?

Yeah, there's an unfair bias there for sure, it's because of the pedophiles out there who give men a bad name. My son is Mixed race and there were even times that nosy people would start asking my child a bunch of weird questions to make sure I didn't abduct him or something because we have different skin tones. It's hurtful, and that's a situation women never experience.

Yes in deed it's hurtful. The little one I have mentioned here I took care of her for 7 months. I tracker her dad down not because I wanted to get rid of her I wanted to adopt her. And my mom she knew I loved her and she also knew that I would face discrimination due to me being a he. So my mom told me and if that happened that she and my dad would adopt her if all else failed. I knew when I tracker her dad down there was a huge chance I would lose her but I knew if I did it was the right thing to do.

The little one she didn't really know her dad up to that point from what I heard not until after I had taken care of her. I heard she became a daddy's girl and as far as I'm aware of she never went back to her mom.

I sit alone and think about things a lot and do a not or mourning too. And also the whole pedophile thing was never about protecting children to begin with. If that were true they wouldn't be genociding children right now. Take a look at the vares data.

The main reason I asked this question is because when it comes to adoption as men straight men are discriminated against as usual. I do agree some men aren't fit to be around children and that's because those men more than likely never wanted children. However there is a overwhelming majority of men that have been gipped out of children through divorce courts and false accusations given to women even as advice from their attorneys. And that's provable it's on video. Do you agree that men have been vilified to a point men can't even go near children without being worried there would be some type of suspicion or accusation given?

Assuming you mean their own, yes. It's natural to love your own kid unless you are a complete psychopath.

In order to make the statement you just made you are stating that you are incapable of loving children that aren't your own children and you believe that men who love children that aren't their own children are psychopaths? Is that right?

I can definitely love other kids, but let's also be realistic.

We don't love everyone especially random people we don't know.

I'm not a very loving person in terms of affection towards strangers but I love others by not doing harm to them and helping them if they need help.

I'm glad you cleared that up. And that said that makes you a individual very unlike myself. Had I not been I would have turned away the little girl I took in years ago and she would have been who knew where. But I loved her like my own and tried to adopt her after having her for 7 months. I see danger coming I don't sit around I warn others and I do it out of love for others and I love others children that is why I wanted to adopt. I think it's fair to say we are not alike nor is if fair to refer to me as a psychopath for having love for others. As far as I am aware I don't think psychopaths are even cable of loving others not to my knowledge they don't even love their own children.

Figure out the rules and discover that men are vastly excluded from adoption and are vilified by society so bad to the point men can't be anywhere around children especially girls without creating panic and concern over nothing. And it's all because some groups decided to brainwash society into believing men don't love children men are predators can shouldn't be anywhere near children.

But OK you have a daughter and you are lucky. Many of the rest of us men would have loved the opportunity to be dads. But since you do have a daughter and you love your daughter and obviously trusted with your daughter or you wouldn't have her. Give this a try. Leave your daughter at home with you girlfriend or wife whichever and go to a park or any public place and walk near a female child. Go see how much panic you will create by doing so and even though you have a daughter of your own you probably will create panic too over distrust of men. And that distrust is the distrust that forbids the rest of us men that don't have daughters from both being around female children and adopting them.
