For some minutes, my boyfriend really thought I was pregnant. All I had to do was announce it and showed him the pregnancy test positive. But it was fake, LOL.

Instead of acting shocked, surprisingly he seemed happy and was ready to tell our families. This is when I told him ''Gotcha''. He still didn't understand so I had to explain that it wasn't real. He asked how is it possible, which I explained that it's a fake one that is sold at stores to fool people. Then I couldn't help it but laughed for some time.

He wasn't laughing though and we weren't speaking for some hours. It got silent so fast. So more men want kids than those that don't want?

Since more men are getting away from commiting too much and claim about their gfs trapping them with a baby or having to pay child support, I thought most wouldn't want kids if it wasn't for the woman wanting kids.

More of the GOOD men do want kids and a family. The thing is, most women are not good enough quality partners to have a family with. Too many of them have an unacceptable past, were promiscuous, did drugs, are hateful feminists that are hypocritical, etc.

Pranks like that though can be hurtful and forever damage trust in a relationship. Don't blame him if in the future he doesn't trust you anymore for other things.

That's correct. I will never understand why so many women think the "I'm pregnant" thing is a good/acceptable/funny prank. That line can make or break relationships

I honestly impressed at how excited he looked. He really wanted the ''baby''. I thought most men that want kids do it mainly for the woman and that if it wasn't up to us, you guys wouldn't want it. I was wrong.

Interesting. He has the same exact reaction as if a man were to play a fake proposal prank on his girlfriend. I know I would be pissed off if a man did that. Then I guess both are equivalents.

Comparable levels of shitty, to be sure. My general rule of thumb is that any time your joke is fucking with some major life event; you shouldn’t make it. Not unless you already know 1,000% for sure that the joke you’re pulling would be totally cool with that person. And even then; you probably shouldn’t do it
