Okay here’s the issue with this poll.
You need to take into account that women are more likely to wait for the right guy to come along and not focus on having children until they are ready since it is more of a ‘burden’ than it is on the man.

Men can’t produce children without a woman and will marry to start a family.

That is how I interpret the people selected in this poll felt when answering although even I think it is a bit shaky. Basically to get better results of your poll you should get a big, diverse, and broad base of people to make it more accurate. If they only did a small sector then that could explain it too.

I definitely believe that. Especially in today's culture. It makes sense, if you think about it. Children are generally a lot more work for women. It's a steeper cost they need to pay, and we live in a time where they have more of a choice about whether to pay for that cost.

The poll only shows that men *who do not already* have children are more likely than women of the same status to want children. So it doesn't actually show that men are more likely to want kids than women in general.

I believe it. More men say they want kids than women. Probably because men don't have to birth or be the primary caretaker of the kids

True. But I made his ass get up when the baby monitor went off in the middle of the night so I could sleep. I spent 9 months carrying, and I get a break at night.

I agree that less men would want kids if we had to give birth, but tons of men would love to be stay at home dads instead of working full time if given the chance.

@Apple1996 From what I've seen it's a whole lot easier than most full time jobs. A friend of mine has been a stay at home father of 5 ever since he got back from the navy, and he homeschools them too. He said it's the easiest thing he's ever done with short times of difficulty here and there. He says he's the happiest he's ever been, being able to spend all his time with the people he loves most. Though he does think it would be a whole lot more stressful for him if it weren't for his time in the military.

Being a stay-at-home parent isn't nearly as hard as a lot of people make it out to be. It's the greatest source of joy in a lot of parents' lives.

i think the polling range may massively skew the results. the average age for the first child is around 28. in their teens most people aren't sure they want children yet. that's completely normal. i'd be interested in more precise numbers by age. that should tell a different story.

Putting aside sample size issues and demographic bias (since a woman who wants a baby is likely going to find it easier to have one than a man would), one clear fact stands out: people who want to have kids are far more likely to try to have them, and consequently, to succeed. If the effects this has on natural selection aren't obvious, I'm not sure I, or anyone else, can help you.

I don’t think that’s universally true. That study only sampled a small number of people. Those samples aren’t necessarily representative of every man and woman in the world, especially outside of Canada.

In my opinion, women want kids more than men do. However this is just based on my own observations and is this isn't like an official study. Personally, I never wanted to raise kids.

No. It will always be women since they're the ones with the biological urge to take care of kids.

No way. By the time a girl is 30 it's pretty much all they want. They may say they don't younger but that biological clock is ticking and eventually they all do. It's just a part of being a female of most any species.

It's the feminist movement. They want to convince women that they are not designed to have children. It's part of the movement of the political left to "depopulate" the planet.

So they published these fake studies and articles and surveys and polls to support that conclusion.

The fact is women are both physically and mentally programmed for millions of years of evolution to want to have children. It's the only reason we're here today. Leftist doctrination aside, that's the reality of it that comes from nature and the rest is an attempt to manipulate the society for political purposes.

There's probably a selection bias here too. Like, childless women tend to have given up on the idea of having kids, much more than childless men. Because men know they can have kids at any point, so they might rule it out less often than women.

At first glance it seems confusing. Why would they want to depopulate the planet?

But upon further reflection, they only want to depopulate certain parts of the planet. That is the parts that belong to the Western culture. This is primarily a product of Chinese communist propaganda. China is experiencing declining birth rates in large part because of their past policies of discouraging families from having female children.

So they came up with the strategy to try to make sure that the West, the United States in particular, depopulates. So they push abortion, they push birth control, they push feminism which encourages women not to have children. That way they can weaken the West and mitigate their own declining birth rate problem.

They used a similar strategy with covid.

When covid broke out in Wuhan, they did things like having their shells at the World Health Organization intentionally report that it was not transmissible human to human even though they knew well that it was.

They were terrified and not allowing people from Wuhan to travel anywhere else in China.

They did however allow them to get on planes by the tens of thousands and travel everywhere else in the world including the United States and Europe.

Instead of quarantining people in Wuhan they intentionally use them as human bombs to send to the Western world to infect us because they reasoned that if they were going to have a crisis they wanted to make sure we had one too to prevent us from strengthening relative to them.

The American left supported their effort by accusing president Trump of racism when he implemented a policy of preventing people from traveling to America from certain countries including China when the virus first started spreading.

The American left was doing the bidding of the Chinese communists either wittingly or unwittingly.

But the strategy was similar. They wanted to make sure that their crisis did not weaken them relative to the West.
