Alright so these dumbasses at work... they just spent today training us on a whole new piece of shit to do for The holidays as “busy work”. So we played in their face saying “Awww this is so hard, we dont understand.” And now they finally just told us fck it, “YOU ALL ARE OFF THIS Friday AND NEXT MONDAY” 🙌 Ding dong these silly ass witches are deeeeead 🤘😂🤘 But man so is my check 💀 I’m gonna be losing 2-4 days worth of hours because I refuse to work a longer shift for the next 2 weeks to make up for these “holiday days”. But ion care. I’ll deal 😂 4 Day Weekend here i come!! Debating if i’ll go to the casino or organize my movies/cds/skateboards for fun 😂😂😂 #FeelFreeToList

I worked for a company that wanted us to work an extra hour a day to make up for the public holidays we got. Nice try but a lead balloon fail. Everybody laughed and just asked managers "what part of public holiday don't you understand?".

So you guys don't get paid for Christmas? The way it works here is that we get Christmas and boxing day as paid public holidays. If it falls on a weekend as this year the Monday and Tuesdays are public holidays. Christmas eve is an unofficial holiday in that we turn up to work in the morning for the work lunch, get pissed then piss off.

Well it seems that a place has found me in a job in the city i've been fighting for and it pays $13. And that also means I get to have a place to stay out there soon so I can handle both jobs and not ride down to this city I live in and burn more gas.

So things are lookin' good again, and i'm going longer in my journey. :D <3

Well I will be working during the holidays and being picking up on the slack for my other co workers the don't wanna work but I guess I will get a nice check with all the overtime and holiday pay I get. Maybe the best news I got is I was named employee of the month in November at my job.
