What to do if a minor assaults you?

As a teen, some boys assaulted me, and they was kids. I don’t even know them. As a kid, some kids was throwing snowballs behind me, and was gonna throw an ice ball at me. Some big kids was hitting me. Some kids be throwing stuff at other people’s dogs.
Back in 2017, I was talking about hitting some kids, and I was receiving threats. Now, I’m being treated like a bad guy like kids don’t hit people that aren’t older than them. That ain’t fair. What to do if a kid hits a teen? What to do if big kids hit little kids? What to do if little kids hit big kids?
