Is it true that most people would do very bad things if they gained the power to turn invisible?

If the power to turn to invisible is given when wanted, and no one else knows, is it true that most people would use it to assault and steal?

We as individuals might all be on different paths but the more we connect and take part of humanity the idea of invisibly can only become a curse with no advantages to gain.

I think that most people, if granted an ability such as invisibility, would at least be tempted to use it for personal gain, yes. They may not necessarily assault or steal, but even mostly decent people would probably use it to their advantage, in one way or another.

Stealing, spying on the opposite sex, gaining entry into someplace you're not supposed to, gathering information, etc. It's unlikely that most people would be able to resist all temptation to benefit from it.

No- at least, not at first. They'd start out doing either mildly bad or simply mischievous things, and would slowly escalate as their moral compass wore down. Are there people out there who can resist them temptations of power and who would stay good? Sure- but such people tend to rarely seek it out.

No, I don't think that would happen. Just like I don't think if murder or steeling became legal that there would be a massive increase in murder or steeling. If you made all crimes legal, I think most people would not do anything differently.
