I am pretty much on the Right. However, I do see a shifting in the USA political landscape in the coming years; indeed, we have already seen the shifts.
First, Big Business. It was an Old Narrative canard that Big Business was "conservative Republican", at least fiscally if not socially. Now many Big Business types were known to be fiscally Right but socially not at all, think of the late Malcom Forbes for example, to say nothing of the entertainment industry. It was also well known that big corporations would buy favors from politicians on both sides of the aisle, but the Old Narrative was that they were "conservative".
But now? Hardly. In fact, they are *quite the contrary*. They are more than happy to espouse Leftist "Wokeness", in exchange for favors from Left politicians. Just about ALL the Big Corporation money went to the Democrats in 2016 and 2020, ditto for congressional elections from 2018 to 2022, and a heck of a lot of that money went to foaming at the mouth "Woke" Leftists who (per the Old Narrative) supposedly hated them.
Why was that? For starters, the Left itself shifted, adopting a Corporatist model, courting and climbing into the metaphorical bed with Big Business, rather than the old school Bernie Sanders-esque idea of wanting to penalize them. Why bash Big Business and try to break it up, when by political deal making you can seduce it, take it over and run it, and better yet, use it to squelch your political opponents?
Big Tech and Computer Social Media giants were more than happy to get into bed with the Democrats and censor opposing viewpoints, including those of President Trump himself, so long as no anti-trust action was taken against their virtual monopolies, and none has been, now has it? See also Big Pharma, which received, due to a whipped up COVID panic, a massive corporate welfare boost.
(Of course, Small Business is solidly Republican and remains so).
And that brings us to the second Old Narrative canard: The "little guys", Working Class stiffs, were solidly Democrat. No longer. The "Woke" New Left clearly hates them and is contemptuous of them as rubes, and they all know it now. They are clearly unhappy with the open borders pro illegal alien policy of the Democrats, but those elites just have to have cheaper gardeners, maids, and other hired help. Time was a good living could be made in Construction, not any more.
And have you ever noticed that the Leftist "Woke" groups demand corporations make symbolic actions and give their groups money and put some women or shiny ethnic tokens in the boardroom, but they NEVER advocate any Family Leave for the workers, now do they?
And perhaps this "woke" is the Faustian Bargain that Big Business has made with Deep State Big Government. If you get female workers to hate male workers, and get Black workers to hate White workers, and as a result the workers can't get together and ask for a better deal, now can they?
As much as I hate the Left, especially the New "Woke" Left, perhaps the OLD Left had a point after all. Now socialism clearly DOES NOT WORK to anyone with half a brain, but a better foreign trade policy, a better immigration policy, and a better family leave for workers policy could be discussed. Anti-Trust against these Big Corporations that have pandered to the "Woke" and squelched competition from smaller businesses (like that guy who makes great bedroom pillows, for instance), is something we can work on, together?
Perhaps the "New Right" and the "Old Left" are not as far apart as heretofore thought. And perhaps now we have a New Left-Corporatist "Deep State".
Note I brought up Donald Trump. But he is NOT the cause of this political shift. If anything he is an effect of it. Perhaps it took an outspoken loudmouth with enough of his own money to make this political shift noticeable and palpable.
I am re-rating lefists in china. Now taiwanese is the same with CCP. I mean what they do from the same point in politcs. It is like absolute spirit in Hegel. I am bystander to see it to study what it means.

I am on the right, I don't want my country to be overrun by invaders, I am not a globalist.
I'm a classical liberal. In the American political system I have no party affiliation.
Actually, that puts you on the Right today.
@Curmudgeon We definitely can agree on far more issues with conservatives than with socialists that for sure.
Left of center. I'm liberal by nature and think when it's time to change, change should happen for the better instead of staying the same and doing the same ole thing over and over again.
Conservative. Why? Because I have a brain.
FAR RIGHT!
