In the olden days, people used to enslave oxen to plow fields. In the U. S., land is still sold by the "acre" which means how much land you can plow with an ox in one day.

This shadowy figure enslaved a horse to take him to church on Sunday. This act of animal slavery gave rise to the word "horsepower" and led many a God-fearing man to his salvation.

When I was little, I enslaved a squirrel. At Christmas time, he would crack open walnuts to serve to the guests. To this day, I enjoy slavery of all kinds.

Any person who refuses to be the slave of Bean2k21 is lower than an animal. Technically speaking, they are not even as useful as an inanimate object.

I had some undocumented squirrels living in my yard and demanded they pay some rent for the use of my yard. After they couldn’t come up with the rent, I had them work off their debt by taking care of the acorn problem in my yard. My neighbors accused me of racism, though, because I only hired grey squirrels. It became a big brouhaha when there were no more acorns because they all became unemployed and they all were basically living on the street.
