Government is never the problem - it can't be. The problem is always with a government institution, a government policy or a government personality.

There are hundreds of thousands of government workers - millions in some countries. But only a fraction of them are elected politicians.

Dumbasses forget that politicians are here today gone tomorrow and not that important. It's generals, councillors and administrators in government you never see before a camera or in a newspaper that do the real government work.

Politicians want you to think them important, not their workers as important. In essence so called "small government" actually means MORE politicians and LESS people doing the real work.

Of course less government is better, government was the number 1 cause of death in the 20th century and it was Marxist who murdered them all, National German socialist workers party, murder millions of Jews and civilians, I’m reading a book right now where the socialist party in Germany basically murders several millions of people and starved out the people of Leningrad. I’m talking more like governments I mentioned would send there people to prison work camps for going against the government, or had to lie because the communist in china would murder farmers who didn’t produce the required amount of goods such as rice. So farmers who didn’t wish there fellow farmers to be murdered by being honest because even though (making up names here) Bob grew the same amount of Jim or even if Jim’s crops produced more the farmer who didn’t meet the growing quota would be executed for going against the regime. So the farmer next door would gift crops to his neighbor, so that he wouldn’t be executed by the CCP (using China because I’ve studied Chinese history a lot more than Russian. I’ve been meaning to read the Gulag archipelago Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn Russian novelist). The Chinese communist party starved. Good number if it’s people 60 million by estimates. Because of everyone and everything can have equal outcome. China is more bigger then the United States land wise the farming regions are in eastern China good soil great for farming, but if you live even slightly out of the region of the perfect growing conditions you failed to produce producing crops as your neighbor, you would be executor or sent to work camp what are you all die from starvation.

At face value their is no answer to this you'd need to be specific sometimes the government needs an active roll in things like businesses to insure they aren't pulling a 2008 on us which lack of regulation caused and sometimes the government just needs to simply protect someone's rights to do something but doesn't need to step anymore beyond that like marriage or using a water fountain
