Knowing Saudi Arabia is the largest source of U. S. petroleum imports from Persian Gulf countries, will we be doomed?

Knowing that the US's oil production surpassed that of Saudi Arabia six years ago, no, we wouldn't be doomed- but it'd probably cause a spike in oil prices.
That is, however, if it was just Saudi Arabia- if all of OPEC refused further dealings with the US, it would probably end in war. Scarily, it would probably be BETTER if it did, since the alternative is seeing oil priced in Yuan, rather than dollars, and a rising hegemonic China is a prospect that should terrify anyone who's not working in the Chinese government.
The dollar will reach zero value and Chinese yen would go up

Maybe rainbows will shoot from marshmallows and dogs with fly on broomsticks... Anything can happen in fantasy land. It's all up to your imagination... In the real world 51% of American oil imports come from Canada, 8% come from Mexico, 8% come from Russia and all the way down in fourth place is Saudi Arabia at 5% of American oil imports.
The US isn't really that important to the Saudi's, as Europe makes better weapon systems anyway. America is just good as a consumer market. But even then, China, Japan and India dwarf the USA in development and spending.
But if the Arab nations can keep Europe on their side. Then we could see the USA going down and breaking up like the Soviet Union.
Once they run out of petroleum (or the world no longer needs it) pretty much everyone will cut ties with Saudi Arabia.
There will be more problems made up for you to worry about. In reality there is more than enough oil on their own continent.
That's not going to happen. Who is going to hold the hand of the Saudis? Russia? They're not doing too good just now.
Actually we get more of our gas here at home, than we do, imports. We could cut them off, if we wanted to, right now. We just don't because well, war
We would have no choice but to make our own oil, the horror!
We would cut them off from foreign aid.
Isn't it all a shit show.. this is probably the wrong place to ask, but as far as I remember, the deepest a fossil has been found drilling the earth is less than 1/10th the depth of known oil wells. So yet again, why is there such a sharp end to all the fossils? As if oil is formed abiotically deeper in the earth in large quantities, and "fossil fuel" is something that barely exists in nature.
No. But it would be economically painful.
They won't
