Why has social justice become coddling the bully for US high schools?

bullies have always existed and been protected but this time they're flipping the script and promoting new types of bullies and pointing the finger at people who aren't actual bullies just to make them the villains in society.

if you're female, LGBT or a minority, you're allowed to be a bully towards those others particularly straight white males and if you're a straight white male that doesn't have pretty privilege, good luck getting schools to defend you from being bullied.

bullies will always be defended no matter what and the bullied will always get the blame no matter what. that's the Halo Effect in full force.

in an ideal world, bullies don't exist but they do everywhere. girls are attracted to bullies and guys have to be bullies or have the appearance of a bully to get somewhere in life. not be a weakling. there's a little bit of bully that exists in a lot of successful people.

bullying can come in many forms whether physical, verbal, online either through fights, abuse, shame tactics, cancellation, character assassination etc.

Everybody is a victim. Junkies are not criminals, they have a disease, shoplifters are not criminals, they are oppressed by big business, and bullies are just misunderstood by society and should not be punished but should be in therapy.

I don't think it's gotten worse. I rather think it's gotten better. For example, homosexuality is largely accepted by the under-30's in the US and most developed counties, and racism is far less tolerated. It will vary by location of course.

systematic wise sure, but I know when I was in high school and yousee online f@g and dyke are still used widely.

and its not just about gays. autistic people were mistreated. troubled people were mistreated. you can mistreat people and manipulate the situation to make yourself look good. or they can coddle the bully because of some characteristic, like he/shess black, gay, poor, or just simply popular and the parent bully and sue themselves.

I don’t think it has. I’m not up to speed on the response to bullying, but hopefully it’s them who get punishment and hopefully treatment.
