Why do schools have a zero tolerance bullying policy when parents act worse to their kids?

Worse is relative, but I didn't want the title to appear too long. What I meant is that parents in America on average behave more rudely to their kids than students do to each other. I think the 0T policy is pointless!

schools just like to virtue signal they care about the wellbeing of every student when it's only a selective few that get special treatment

boys bullying girls is bad but girls bullying boys is ok. whites bullying blacks is bad but blacks bullying whites is ok. straights bullying gays is bad but gays bullying straights is ok. attractive bullying unattractive is ok but unattractive fighting back is bad

and there's the gossip too that often surrounds the victim of bullying whereas the bully is defended and secretly praised

at the end of the day, you can't prevent bullying. bullying naturally occurs and attacks those who don't fit "social norms". girl is too pretty? just "slut shame" her. boy is too ugly? just make some shit up about him being a creep/loser/incel/misogynist so that it's justifiable to bully him because he deserves it
