yes. if they were non black [people like to think there's two colors... lol], there would be a different outcry, maybe protests would be chaotic. I know the belief is maybe they wouldn't have been fired so fast. As it is... some still blame it on white people. Why don't such people just move to central Africa where they wouldn't have this problem? 🤨

But dead is still dead... that's same. An officers being screwed over because certain citizens can't say "yes sir", swollow their pride and go to jail. That same. And likely officers go to jail, that's a little different since ALL of the officers who killed people like girlfriend, who were various races, didn't go to jail. But since girlfriend, these ones likely will. So kinda same.

I'm past this already, my view of it doesn't align with societies BS. Now I wonder if Memphis collapses further down to be #2 or #1 in violent crime. It will be tough to beat St. Louis or New Orleans and Detroit... it's a battle for who will be most violent and deadly. Time will tell. One thing for sure, the Memphis police will be wearing hand cuffs for a while, and there's less policing. Good luck to you all...

No. I think what matters more is the people they hire. Corrupted cops on the loose seems to be a thing there.

I don't see how that would matter... that said, I've seen a few gut-wrenching takes from people who are complaining that the only reason we're getting justice at all is because the cops are black. Apparently we wouldn't have seen justice if they were white.

It's tough to imagine the narcissism and how out of touch with reality someone would have to be to find out that a young man was brutalized and then bitch that the redress of grievences didn't occur at the exactly right speed.
